Steve advises brands on the creation and implementation of growth strategies at varying stages of their evolution - ranging from concept development and initial fundraising, through to established portfolio optimisation, new channel exploration and exit. 

He prides himself on knowing his client’s businesses as well as they do so that he can add value to their decision making beyond property. 

A cross sector specialist in investment he has been involved in over £1billion of capital market transactions. His key strength in this area is an ability to identify opportunities for value creation through his deep understanding of relative uses and the development process.

Given his diverse experience and depth of knowledge he is frequently asked to take on significantly wider roles for his clients - he currently serves on the board of directors for a well known brand.

Prior to founding Lightlease, Steve was a Director at JLL, and before this was the Retail Leasing Director for the renowned regeneration of Battersea Power Station.
